Biography

Predicated on authenticity and a genre-less approach, Dalton Kiser and The Downwind seamlessly traverses through a multi genre musical landscape. The foursome not only pulls inspiration from their fellow Eastern Kentuckians, whom are credited with birthing the country and bluegrass scenes, but also from the gritty southern rock sounds made famous by old honky tonk hero’s and outlaw country icons alike. Constantly pushing boundaries and breaking barriers, this troupe truly marches to the beat of their own drum. If there is only one hard truth when it comes to Dalton Kiser and The Downwind, we can be sure their undeniable chemistry and reckless authenticity is a refreshing stance, and above all, one that stands to last.

Makin’ music for outlaws, in-laws, crooks and straights

“Young and hungry” is how Presley Jade, manager of Dalton Kiser and The Downwind, describes the troupe.

Seeing that the Appalachian natives have released four songs with Grammy-nominated Duane Lundy, headlined 3 music festivals, graced the stages of The Kentucky Music Hall of Fame, The Burl, and opened for Sundy Best all in under two years, we’d say she’s spot on. Not to mention most recently playing the Tecovas Grand Opening Party, and performing on Red Barn Radio!

It is no secret how the band has amassed a growing fan base with nearly 4,000 monthly listeners across all streaming platforms, and 9,500+ followers across all social platforms. Dalton Kiser and The Downwind have their foot on the gas, and aren’t looking back.
